This text is compromised of 27 chapters that cover a variety of topics related to mental health clinicians effectively treating families raising and living with an individual with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). There are over 30 contributing authors, each have clinical and/or research experience related to the treatment of ASD. Systemically Treating Autism is the first text of its kind to analyze and discuss treatment of ASD from a systemic framework, which integrates the proper care of parents and siblings as well as the individual with ASD.
